We offer professional vocal training at our studio at the edge of Liverpool City Centre for singers of all ages and abilities whether singers are training towards professional aims or simply for pleasure.
Pro Vox training provides the opportunity for students to learn about their voice and set personalised targets to develop vocal technique, range and performance (we can also assist those with vocal health concerns). Many singers in training are also involved in artist development, performance coaching, acting-through-song, music theory, song writing and basic keys/guitar skills as part of their training.
Carrie Birmingham, Pro Vox Director, has an wealth of knowledge and over 13 years experience with an MA qualification and PhD study in vocal science and vocal pedagogy making her well placed to ensure the growing Pro Vox teaching staff and students receive up to date technique based training.
Presently we have a staff of 6 vocal teachers catering for singers of all contemporary genres, from beginner to advanced performers, aged 6 to adult. Our vocal students have the chance to take part in London College of Music (LCM) vocal examinations up to two times a year, along with a variety of live annual showcase events at venues across the city to suit different styles and genres.
Our Director is also based in a Liverpool Voice Clinic as a BAPAM approved Vocal Rehabilitation Coach and is a certified Vocal Health First Aider with Vocal Health Education, UK. Find out more...
