At Pro Vox, our mission is to empower students to understand and harness their vocal potential through contemporary techniques and the latest industry research. We aim to equip singers of all ages and abilities with the skills to build and control their vocal talent through regular training, performance experience, and qualifications that will support their future aspirations. Our goal is to foster each student's unique voice and help them thrive in their musical journey.
Founded in September 2013 by Carrie Simone Birmingham, Pro Vox was established to provide top-tier vocal training for students of all ages and abilities in Contemporary Commercial Music (CCM) genres. Carrie's innovative approach quickly garnered recognition, earning her nominations for 'Best New Comer' and 'Young Entrepreneur' at the 2015 Women in Business Awards in Liverpool.
Over the years, Carrie has assembled a dedicated team of singing teachers and specialists who share her passion for vocal excellence. Pro Vox is renowned for its high levels of student achievement in LCM Exam sessions, stellar annual performance showcases, and numerous recording and audition opportunities.
Additionally, Carrieās expertise as a Vocal Rehabilitation Coach attracts professional singers and actors from across the North of the UK (including North Wales) who are seeking specialized training for vocal fatigue and injury.
Carrie's extensive knowledge, driven by her ongoing academic pursuits in voice and hearing science (working towards a Doctorate), underpins the continual growth and success of Pro Vox. Her commitment to educating both staff and students with cutting-edge vocal practices ensures that Pro Vox remains a beacon of healthy singing and vocal development. For over a decade, our unwavering dedication to our singers' progress and well-being continues to drive our passion for vocal training.
