Ellie Entwistle - Young Voices Teacher

About Ellie

Ellie is an Advanced young adult singer who has trained under our Director Carrie for over 12years. Ellie completed her A-Levels at Archishop Blanch Catholic Sixth Form and after gaining places at institutes such as Leeds Conservatoire and the Arden Theatre School, she decided to take a gap year to continue developing her teaching experience. Ellie is due to continue training on the Vocal Studies and Performance (Ba) at the Arden Theatre School in September 2023. Alongside her studies she continues to develop her ability and knowledge of singing and performance and began teacher training and teaching observations in September 2021 to begin as our Young Voices Teacher in January 2022.

Ellie's knowledge of vocal technique, performance skills and music theory offer a diverse range of learning to new and young singers. As a performer since the age of 8 Ellie has experienced first hand what it takes to advance her vocal ability and develop confidence as a performer. Seeing how shy and quiet she was at the start of her training seems almost shocking when looking at the ability and confidence she now holds!

She recently obtained a High Distinction in her Grade 8 Pop Vocals LCM Exam and is currently studying for her Popular Vocals Diploma with the London College of Music. Ellie has performed in a variety of events across the city in pop, rock and musical theatre performance with live bands, acoustic accompaniment and self-accompanying. She plays keyboard and guitar to which she is self-taught and has a great knowledge of music theory and drama practices upto GCSE level.

In recent years Ellie was also involved in suppporting the former Pro Vox Academy were she was involved in assisting group classes in singing and acting and has also been involved in direction and staging of ensemble pieces from musicals such as Annie.

Ellie is available for bookings across Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays and recommended to new vocalists who are looking to learn skills for singing and build confidence as vocal performers. If you are a beginner to singing technique, looking to try out singing or get involved in  public performances, you will work great with Ellie.

Any student's working with Ellie will gain the opportunity to take part in our annual live performances and LCM exam sessions. Students also have access to our Advanced Teacher and Director Carrie, who works closely with Ellie to ensure the best possible training and opportunities for students of Pro Vox.
